After high school student Christopher Pichon II passed away from an unknown heart condition, his parents worked to ensure lifesaving equipment is available in all Texas schools and for all student athletes to have other exams in addition to regular physicals.  
St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Houston, is continuing those efforts, sponsoring an annual community health fair targeting youth.
